Welcome to Bridgeman Farms, where nature and agriculture come together in perfect harmony. Nestled in rural Arkansas, in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains near the Arkansas River Valley, our ancestors settled this land more than 160 years ago. They traveled from North Carolina by way of Kentucky and Tennessee to start over with dreams of a bright future on their new homestead. One can only imagine the wilderness that met them and the overwhelming work that laid ahead to prepare the land for a family. These ancestors and generations of their descendants are buried less than a mile from the home that they created so long ago.
Today, Bridgeman Farms is home to a variety of animals, from chickens to cows and horses to pigs. There are even a few lazy dogs and barn cats thrown in! Wild turkey, deer, and a multitude of small game can be found wandering through the pastures or forests on most days. The ponds are stocked for a day of fishing, or just hanging out on the water in a flat-bottomed or paddle boat. Swinging from the barn rafters on an old rope, wading in the creeks that divide the pastures, or sledding down the hills on rare snow days, our families are blessed by the opportunity to live in harmony with nature.
Take a stroll through our pastures and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Our farm store offers a selection of products that we use every day here on the farm. Seasonally, you can find fresh produce, as well as pasture-raised meat and eggs for sale at our roadside market stand. Periodically, we even host special events on the farm so that you can visit and see for yourself what makes it so special!
Come along as we share the beauty of Bridgeman Farms with you!
